Our Suite is a lovely one bedroom accomodation located on our first floor.
This lovely one bedroom Suite features classic old Dutch details such a wall of floor-to-ceiling-windows in the living room, large windows in the bedroom and kitchen and lovely old beams. The rooms are filled with light and have lovely views of typical old Amsterdam streets.
From the fabulously comfortable bed to the hairdryer in the bathroom to the fully equipped kitchen, we hope you'll find the Suite to be lovely and relaxing with home-like comforts.
The layout is: from the central hallway you enter into the apartment. On the right is the bedroom, furnished with an armoire, queen bed (160x200), night tables and lamps. On the left is the WC with toilet and washbasin. Moving ahead, the fully equipped kitchen is on the right and the bath, also with wash basin is on the left. Then you step into the sitting room with it's floor to ceiling windows (and draperies), desk and chair, sofa and comfortable chair, cable tv, dvd player and wireless hi-speed internet.
The kitchen looks over the breakfast bar into the sitting room. Recently updated, it has an oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer and microwave. It is fully equipped for preparing and eating meals including small appliances such as microwave, coffee maker, toaster and kettle.
The Suite can sleep 3 guests--2 in the large bed and 1 on the sofabed. The sofabed measures 120x190 and cannot sleep 2 adults.
There is an additional charge of €20 per night for use of the sofabed when reserved by 2 guests. When there are 3 guests, there is an additional charge of E40 per night (which includes the cost of the sofabed).

Our lovely, light-filled Double room is located on the 2nd floor along with our living room and kitchen.
As with the Suite, we have furnished the Double and the living room with relaxation and comfort in mind. Along with it's own fabulously comfortable queen size bed (160x200), the Double is furnished with a dresser, night tables, reading lights, hooks for hanging clothes and a chair. The bath is private, but not en-suite. It is located within the in the apartment, just across the internal hallway and only 2-4 steps from the room. No other guests have a key to this floor and we have our private quarters (and bath) on the 3rd floor so the bath and separate toilet are truly private to the our guests in the Double.
This is the same floor where our kitchen and living room are located so we are in and out during the day but we try to work with our guests to ensure they have privacy between 9-10pm until it's time for us to make breakfast the next morning (usually between 08:15-09:15am).
Our living room features the classic old Dutch wall of floor-to-ceiling-windows in the living room plus large windows in the bedroom and kitchen and lovely old beams. The rooms are filled with light and have lovely views of typical old Amsterdam streets. Guests in the Double are welcome to use the living room to hang out, watch tv or dvds, read, write letters or use the netbook to check their email.
Guests are not allowed to cook but may help themselves to coffee, tea, hot cocoa or juice plus an assortment of fresh fruit and snacks (often homemade!). We allow guests to use the microwave and toaster and will provide a shelf in the refrigerator for foods and beverages our guests may bring home.

Located on a quiet street in the canal belt, close to the Centraal Station and public transportation, this classic Dutch apartment, although not directly on a canal, is surrounded by 4 canals and is near the Melk Meisjes Brug (milk maid’s bridge or milk girl’s bridge), the Haarlemmerstraat and the Jordaan. The Anne Frank House is about a 5-8 minute walk. The Flower Market, Van Gogh and Rijksmuseum, Leidseplien and Rembrandtplein are 20-30 minutes walk but also easily reached by tram (2 minutes walk). Dam Square is no more than a 10 minute walk.

This charming one bedroom apartment is located on one of Amsterdam's most famous canals in the Negen Straatjes (9 Little Streets). Located on the top 2 floors of a small canal house, the apartment is a short but beautiful 2 minute walk to the Flower Market, the Spui and the Leidseplein. This is truly located in the center within easy walking distance to all major tourist sites, including Dam Square, the Anne Frank House, the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, the Vondelpark and the Rembrandt House.
From the street you step into the entry hall equipped with hooks and baskets to hold your coats, hats and shopping bags. Up the stairs, on the first floor you will enter into a lovely living space with gorgeous canal views. This main room is about 325 square feet and is furnished to function as living room, kitchen and office/dining room. There is comfortable seating for 3 guests, a flat screen tv with media center to play cd, dvds and radio. There is also a desktop that doubles as a dining table and if needed, there is also a gateleg table. The open kitchen is attractive and although small is fully equipped for cooking a several course meal. The fixtures include a dishwasher, a gas cook-top and a combination convection/microwave oven.
Up the stairs to the second floor you will find the separate toilet (enclosed) and the large and luxurious bathroom open to the bedroom. Note that while the bath area is open to the bedroom, draperies are available for privacy. Not seen is the cabinet in the bathroom that contains the combination washer/dryer. Bed linens and plenty of bath towels are included.
The apartment receives afternoon sunlight, filtered by the trees in summer.

Located in an historic canal house built in the mid 1700's, this three bedroom, two and one-half bath canal house offers the perfect Amsterdam experience. It is conveniently found between the Flower Market and the 'Negen Straatjes' (Nine Streets). This is the very heart of Amsterdam's famous canal belt with all major tourist sites within 10 minutes walking distance.
Situated on the first, second and third floors, the apartment is light and airy with large windows in every room. The first floor opens up into a comfortable living room with canal views, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with a dining table that seats six guests and large windows that open onto the inviting garden terrace (there is also a door!). There is a half bath on this floor with a toilet and washbasin. Up the stairs to the second floor, you will find two bedrooms and a full bath. The first bedroom has a lovely canal view, a queen bed (160 cm), an armchair and antique dresser. The second bedroom also has a queen bed (160 cm) plus an antique armoire and an indonesian bench. The view is of the charming garden terrace one floor below. The bath is located on the landing between the two rooms and has a toilet, wash basin and a shower separate from the bathtub. Up the last staircase, you will find the third bedroom on the third floor. This room has a double bed (140 cm), a dresser and comfortable chair. The view is mostly of the sky (although you may also look down to see the garden terrace). A particular favorite for its sense of privacy and calm, this room also has a small private bath with toilet, walk-in shower and washbasin. Please remember that in Europe we count the floors as ground floor, then first, second, third, fourth, etc.
All bedrooms are equipped with a DVD players and hair dryers. The living room has a large cable television plus a DVD player and a stereo/CD player. The apartment also has a telephone for local calls and hi-speed wireless internet (you must supply the laptop).

Located in the lively and popular Jordaan, this three-bedroom, two-bath apartment offers the perfect Amsterdam experience. Just behind the Noorderkerk (North Church), it is only a five minute walk to the Anne Frank House and just a ten to twenty minute walk to the rest of Amsterdam's major attractions.
The Jordaan is one of the most desirable residential areas in Amsterdam and is popular with locals as well as with tourists. Known for its art galleries, variety of small shops as well as its many cafés, bars, and restaurants, you can always find something to do just outside your front door. On Saturdays you can join the locals and shop at the weekly farmers market located on the street in front of the apartment. Afterwards have a coffee and apple tart at one of the many cafes facing the Noorderkerk. Then you can take a stroll down one of the beautiful canals for which Amsterdam is so justifiably famous. Best of all, because it is a popular residential area, it rarely becomes too noisy at night.
Situated on the first and second floors of an 18th century building, the apartment is light and airy with large windows in every room. The first floor opens up into a large living area, dining area, and large open kitchen. Behind the kitchen is a laundry room with the refrigerator, washing machine and a dryer. The smaller of the two bathrooms is on this floor and has a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The kitchen, laundry room and both bathrooms are tiled with Italian marble.
The beautiful wood spiral staircase is a focal point and takes you up to the second floor where you will find the three bedrooms.
